Here’s another original from the guys that did that song
I posted a couple of days ago.
That would be me, Raymund and Melvin.
“The Three Stooges,” as we are well known to our friends.
Or “The Three Spawns of Satan” according to our moms.
Anyways,
Here’s another one we did, just before Christmas of ‘92 or ’93.
I am not really sure.
But I vividly remember where we did this one.
This song is actually about this girl and one of us.
I won’t tell you who, to protect our identities,
and to prevent further beatings.
So this “couple” broke up, right before Christmas,
And this guy was hoping to win the girl’s heart again.
And well…
That’s pretty much how this song came about.
You know how devastating it is
if you are not with your true love come Christmas time.
I mean, who’s going to give you presents?
And, who’s going to stop you when you act like a drunken jerk
at the party where you weren’t really invited,
and ended up passed out on the dance floor covered in your own vomit?
I think I have said too much already.
I do not want to compromise the “Spawn of Satan’s Creed.”
I hope you like this one.
It’s the first time I did an all acoustic amplification,
without plugging anything in.
We’ll except for the Bass and the Microphone.
It’s also written in Tagalog,
so, I guess you have to find your friendly neighborhood Filipino,
so they can translate it.
Of course that’s if you are not from the Philippines.
If you are, then find your friend who doesn’t know Tagalog
and translate this for them.
“Ang gulo mo, Denden!”
Anyways,
this one is called,
Tanging Hiling
