New Song added – I Need You Lord

This is another one we used to sing in Church back in High School.
It’s another song by Bro. Mike Lapid.

I Need You Lord

Mobile Player here:

It’s another one of those songs that
helped me during tough times.

Seems like I take refuge in them quite often these days.
In these trying times, we all need the help we can get.

I hope this song would help anyone, as much as it helped me.

One Friend

My very good friend, Nerisse
passed away today.

I played this song, in her memory.

We pray for your soul, my dear friend.
Rest in the arms of our Lord.

You will be missed.

Helpless

A very close friend of mine in the Philippines
is in critical condition at this very moment.

Thoughts and prayers are the only things I can offer.
As I sit here, staring at this screen,
I really do not know what to think, or what to do.

I really don’t know.

“Helpless” would be the right word for it.

It’s not about me being very helpless,
it’s about me, not being able to help.

It’s the price you pay,
when your loved ones are far away.

Actually,
I think it’s more of,

It’s the price you pay,
when you decided to be far away.

Lennon’s Royce

You know one thing about moving,
is that you get to re-discover stuff that you have probably forgotten.

You look at it again in awe, and recall memories associated with that particular item.
May it be an old piece of clothing,
an old furniture,
or an old toy,
or some ancient house decorations you bought in a yard sale long ago.

For me,
it’s pictures.
I found a whole bunch of old pictures.

Pardon the interruption.

Don’t mind me.

I am just trying out new designs for this thing.

Carry on.
Nothing to see here.

Well, not yet.

(This one is nice, but it hurts my eyes.)

-Let’s go back to this one for now,
until I find one that I ‘really’ like.

Father’s Day ‘08

Each and every one of us,
would like to give our children the same opportunities we had when we were kids.
If not better.

That also go with our parents’ teachings and life’s lessons.

So what lesson can I give my son,
that is better than what I learned from my folks?

Well, for one,
I was taught to always wash my hands
after I use the bathroom.

So today,
I teach my son,

Not to pee on his fingers.

Man!
I reek with Geniusness!

Happy Father’s Day!

All moved.

I guess that’s it.

We’re all moved to a new house.

I have moved so many times in my life,
I really don’t care anymore.

But this time,
I have learned two important things.

First.
If I move again,
Someone’s going to have to shoot me.

Second,
If I move again,
I am going to have to shoot me.

I know, I know.
I say that all the time.

Okay, maybe when I say “shoot,”
I meant kick me in the “nards.”
