Yesterday,
We trimmed the trees around our house.

And I must say,
For an amateur,
I did pretty good, cutting that damn forest,
with only a minor scratch injury.

Which was entirely my fault.
I realized I miscalculated the length of that huge ass branch
right after it fell on me.

Also considering that there was a freakin’ chain saw
held by only four screws,
on a questionable 10 foot pole
right on top of me,
I think I did quite well.

Also,
I just found out,
that trimming your tree,
apparently is a big thing around here.

People come up to you and say,
“Hey! Are you cutting your tree?”

I don’t even know how they got that idea,
since there are tons of branches around me,
and I have a freakin’ chainsaw.

And then my next door neighbor came up and says,
“Hey, you’re cutting down my shade.
Now my electric bill is gonna go up.”

Now I didn’t do anything or answer him back because,
from that point on, He resembled a stupid tree limb to me,
and again, I have a chainsaw in my hands.

Anyways,
I don’t really have a point with this post.

I just wanted to tell a story,
