So, we were supposed to go to see a concert this weekend in Ottawa.

That’s not gonna happen now.

So, in addition to the things I prayed for ,

The Toronto Raptors game in Toronto we were gonna see – Cancelled.

Elton John‘s concert in Toronto- cancelled.

The concert in Ottawa wasn’t cancelled , but I got Covid instead.

There’s a lot more to this whining I’m doing. These disappointments are not new.

Seems like the universe is not quite done fucking with me.

Speaking of Siblings

Let me tell you this quick story.

Over the course of my life, these gentlemen have been more than brothers to me.

Whenever I get myself into trouble or find myself in a predicament that I would need their advice and support, my high school brothers would never let me down.

During my Senior Year, due to a big argument with a family member, they kicked me out.

I remember trying to think where I was going to go and live. Or who would take me in at a moments notice.

I immediately thought of going to my best friend, Darwin’s house. I know for sure he would calm me down and figure stuff out while I crash at their place.

I’m there most of the time anyways.

I ended up living at my Dad’s but that’s because I stopped over quickly since he lived closer. He didn’t let me leave after I told him what happened.

Anyway, my point is, family is not only defined by blood alone.

Sometimes, you have to have the Heart as well.

And these guys have them.

They have been more than family to me.

National Sibling Day 2022

A shout out to my brothers and sisters on this day.

Even though we are all far apart and our family is scattered all over the world, know that I am proud to be a part of us.

To Ate Beth, Ate Lynn, Kuya Jo, Kuya Mel, Bry and Kiel,

Mahal ko kayo mga Kapatid.

Today’s Friday Five

Here we go with today’s Friday Five again.

  1. Do you like children?
-Yes I do. Not in a creepy way though.
I am very good with kids. Well, I like to think I am. I have been told I am always a kid at heart that’s why I get along with them well.
So, do I like Children? Yes.
    Teenagers? Not so much.

  2. How many children would you like to have in the future?
-I already have a son so I am good. But I wish I had a daughter too. My Baby Girl.
She’ll be a Daddy’s girl and I’ll be wrapped around her finger. The sweetness of a daughter to her Daddy seems like a very good feeling.

  3. What if you were expecting sextuplets?
-First, I need to know if they’re all mine. Kidding!
I am sure it’ll be fun. That just means I have a complete Family Hockey Team in the Future!

  4. If TLC offered to share your life on TV, would you accept the offer?
-I don’t know. How much are they paying me? What are the hours? Who are the sponsors?
    What will I wear?

  5. What would you name the sextuplets?
-I’ll probably go Alphabetically, just like in Bridgerton. Or I’ll just probably go with Biblical names.
Matthew, Mark, Donner, Blitzen, Tito and Jermaine.
I have a feeling Jermaine will be a handful.

Today I Learned This

For those of you who have known me, you know I was raised as a Christian.

Catholic upbringing, Catholic Schooling, and have been a member of the Church Choir,
or Church Music Ministries for years. I was even an altar boy for most of my grade school days.
I was involved with my High School Brothers in a weekly Prayer Group for so long also.

And as you know, I have expressed my faith and belief on this site multiple times.
There is even an actual Category for Worship Music on my Chorus page.
Because that is my background. I grew up playing in Church and singing the songs.

Anyway, Easter is coming next week and usually by this time
I am already preparing for another song to add here.

#SaucyJourney

So the second one of these Hot sauces I tried is called “Ghost Pepper.”

Of course I had to try this one coz you all know I like watching ghosts and ghouls and what have you. I like scaring myself up to the point where I won’t be able to sleep from pure fear and paranoia.

Now this one is not bad. I actually really liked it.

The moment I pour it over my food I could start smelling the spiciness.

It’s like the ghosts were making their presence felt.

Oh I did feel them the moment this touched my mouth.

I started sweating all over and got goose bumps all over my body. The hair on the back of my neck started peeking out like gophers coming out of their holes.

I started hallucinating right before the lights turned on and off like I was in a horror movie. I’m pretty sure I started praying in both Arabic and Latin.

I enjoyed this so much I finished it even before writing this post.

So, yeah. This is definitely going on my approved hot sauce list.

Stay tuned for my next hot sauce review.

I’m trying this one next.

Let’s see how “Saucy” she will be.
