Arm is still healing.
But I am so ready to play.
What should we record next?
As you may have noticed,
I started a protected post here on my site
not too long ago.
“I can kill you with a smile
and wound you with these eyes.” – A Woman
You know, I am actually glad that
there is an International Women’s Day.
A day to recognize the power
and importance of a woman, on a worldly scale.
I don’t even care if there’s an International Man’s day.
That would be just silly.
Men are the worst!
I can’t stand them most of the time.
Women are the best.
Seriously!
I am fortunate enough to have very strong women in my life.
I remember George Carlin once said,
“I believe that if there is a God,
that God has to be a Man.
Because no Woman can screw this world up.”
And I truly believe him.
Anyways,
Today reminded me of another Instrumental Song I did years ago.
I wanted to re-share this as well.
She’s Always a Woman
Music by – Billy Joel
Guitars by – Yours truly
It’s a Guitar Overdub on a Backing track.
I was trying to make my guitar sound clean with this one.
Well, I wanted to make it really clean,
but it ended up a bit distorted.
Thanks for listening.
“What the Hell, Dude?
Get your own girl!” – Jessie
I saw that quote on Twitter a long time ago
and it made me chuckle.
And it reminded me
that I did a guitar cover of Jessie’s Girl back in…
My Goodness! Twelve years ago! In 2001.
I used to love this song when I was young
because of Rick Springfield.
I remember how good looking and cool he was.
Playing guitar, singing songs, getting the girls.
He’ll surely get his wish and get Jessie’s girlfriend.
So that’s when I started to think at a very young age
that if I learn how to play guitar and sing songs,
I too can be cool and probably get a girl like Jessie’s.
I learned guitar and sang songs
But sadly, I needed to be good looking too,
which apparently was a very important ingredient
to be a cool Rock Star like Rick.
I wasn’t.
Also, to know Self Defense for when that time
Jessie beat the crap out of me
and walked away with his girl,
holding her in his arms, late, late at night.
(Sigh) I wonder what she didn’t see in me.
But that’s not important right now.
that was a long time ago,
and I spent a lot of money in rehab and therapy.
So, anyway.
Here’s an old jam I wanted to re-share.
Music by – Rick Springfield
All instruments and percussion arrangement by – Yours truly.
I’m really, really, really missing my guitar right now! Fingers are restless. pic.twitter.com/yi0B6XfIyE

It’s what I crave when emotions are high
and thoughts are plenty.

Now I feel better knowing that
a good friend of mine feels the same.

Although please remember,
we are not bashing the Faith.
Just the ones who run it.
The Church is both Human and Divine.
Guess which part has flaws?
I belong there too.
