I do not care where you’re from.
It was HOTTER than HADES today!
My FriJoles almost got burned when I got to my car seat!

(Oh and that’s almost 41°C, for my Metric friends!)
A couple of weeks ago,
Abbie blogged about her realization of being (old) “older”.
Read about it here.
You know,
I too had this epiphany not too long ago.
It’s not because I refer to the young kids as “young kids.”
It’s not because I can’t stand the “young kids” of today.
It’s not because I have adult responsibilities now.
It’s not because I mumble a lot when I’m alone.
It’s not because I go to bed very early.
Or had to get some nap time.
I had this revelation,
when I got home from work one day,
and I opened my bag,
And I saw about a dozen different kinds of medications in there.
Meds for:
Headaches, Migraines, Flu, Antacids, Cough, Colds, Wound Care, Sugar Level, Upset Stomach, Nausea, Gas, Diarrhea, Flatulence…..
Geez,
No wonder I am always Grumpy.
And where the hell is my Ambien????
I was going to keep this on the down low,
until the very end.
But I guess, everyone is going to find out eventually.
I got this from Vince.

“Where is your tetot?”
Oh look!
He changed it back.
I told you it hurt my eyes.
At least I can change the design.
The music in here hurts my ears.
That one, I can’t do much about.
You’re going to have to suffer that with me.
Happy Birthday, Canada!
Bonne Fête du Canada!
This is another one we used to sing in Church back in High School.
It’s another song by Bro. Mike Lapid.
I Need You Lord
Mobile Player here:
It’s another one of those songs that
helped me during tough times.
Seems like I take refuge in them quite often these days.
In these trying times, we all need the help we can get.
I hope this song would help anyone, as much as it helped me.

My very good friend, Nerisse
passed away today.
I played this song, in her memory.

We pray for your soul, my dear friend.
Rest in the arms of our Lord.
You will be missed.
A very close friend of mine in the Philippines
is in critical condition at this very moment.
Thoughts and prayers are the only things I can offer.
As I sit here, staring at this screen,
I really do not know what to think, or what to do.
I really don’t know.
“Helpless” would be the right word for it.
It’s not about me being very helpless,
it’s about me, not being able to help.
It’s the price you pay,
when your loved ones are far away.
Actually,
I think it’s more of,
It’s the price you pay,
when you decided to be far away.
