Once in a lifetime – Gone!

I just missed my son’s first day of Kindergarten.

Because I ‘have to be’ at work,
for the satisfaction of other people.

I am just going to have to settle for pictures,
so I can imagine what it’s like to take your kids
on their first day of school.

God!
I fucking hate the world sometimes.

Damage Control

Fay is gone.

Such a nice break from all the torrential rains
and howling force winds.
Floods and fallen trees everywhere.

I went around the house to assess the damage she left behind,
so I can share with you how terrifying it was.

Warning:
This picture is a very graphic representation of how dangerous
a hurricane can be.
Please be careful out there.

What a drag!

Look at this storm!

It already made landfall,
Damaged whatever is in its path,
Exited Florida,
then comes back for more.

Fay returns to destroy more lives.

What a bitch!

It’s uncouth to tell the truth.

Enter scene:
Bowflex commercial on TV,
Father and Son watching:

Son: Daddy look! That machine makes you not be fat.

Daddy: Yeah, I know! I don’t want to be fat.

Son: But you ‘are’ fat.

Daddy: No, I am not!

Son: Yes you are!

(Son lifts Daddy’s shirt and taps his belly.)

Son: See! Right here.

He is lucky he is cute.
Or he will be out on the streets!

She’s on her way!

Here we go again!

Hurricane FAY is on her way to pound Florida.

Time to review what I have learned
from all the hurricanes we have experienced down here.

1.) This is no time to panic!

and

2.) There is always a chance that we will all die!

Back by popular demand.

One more time!

With special guest on Rhythm Guitars.
My friend, Maita.

Another Original Philippine Music,
by N. Gallardo and
sung by Celeste Legaspi.

Maita did very well on Guitars,
and I supplied the melody again.

This has been a really fun project.
Not just because it was fun,
But it also saved me a lot of time from playing all the other instruments.
My laziness is not a secret here.

I hope you guys enjoy this one as much as we did.

PS – The song title, translated in English means “Pepe’s Kite”
I just don’t know what the name Pepe’s counterpart in English is.
Can anyone help?

And so it begins..

This event will be constantly showing on my television.
So, I am going to be useless for the next couple of weeks.

Go Team CANADA!

New Song Added – High School

Here is something that my friend,
Maita and I, experimented on.

She would play the Rhythm,
Record it on her Computer,
And send it to me.

Then I add the melody part.
(Or whatever it is that I added in there.)

It’s from a very old Philippine Song,
from a very old movie soundtrack.

Original composition by George Canseco,
and sung by Sharon Cuneta.

I love the way this one turned out,
Even though it wasn’t really what I had in mind.

I wanted to add more to this, but after just adding the melody,
I listened to it and it sounded like an old Celtic hymn.
Then I just wanted to leave it as it is.

Now this is pretty cool because
she just learned Guitar not too long ago,
and now I think she sounded pretty good.

So now I give you,

HIGH SCHOOL
